Women Restoring Oklahoma Coalition is proud to announce our first annual Walk-A-Thon at Mabel Bassett Correctional Center on June 27, 2026.

On this day, women across the facility will lace up their shoes and walk not for themselves, but for something bigger. They will walk to raise awareness for victims, to acknowledge harm, and to show that remorse can become responsibility when it is put into action.

Each participant will receive an official W.R.O.C. Walk-A-Thon bracelet and will seek sponsors to support their walk. Every step taken is a step toward restoration, accountability, and healing.

100% of all donations raised through this event will go directly to victim impact organizations such as SHINE Foundation.

This is more than a walk. It is women choosing to give back. It is accountability in motion. It is proof that people can grow, serve, and become part of the healing they once lacked.

Those interested in participating in person should contact Mabel Bassett Correctional Center directly. All visitors must be registered volunteers with the Oklahoma Department of Corrections.
